A new generation of lucrative BeirTex® satin qualities for discerning hotel customers
Using BeirTex® technology, we have now successfully developed a deluxe range of fine satins in two different striped designs, Kora and Sound, as well as Marimba, a beautiful, geometric all-over pattern!
Marimba has a minimalist design that plays beautifully with light and shadow in an interesting and innovative pattern. It’s a special design that will please not just connoisseurs but also guests who have an eye for interior design.
Kora is a new, exceptionally glossy bed linen design whose varied and dynamic stripes create an attractive, subtle interplay across the surface. With its contemporary look, this design is destined to be a future classic in the world market.
Sound is a timeless and evocative design; its wide intervals produce a markedly different striped effect with a sharp, exclusive pattern that will complement a wide range of environments.
Kora and Sound are based on a fine-count product quality, crafted from fine yarns, and characterised by its soft feel and sharp patterned effect. It is a relatively light product, without being transparent. An ideal choice to satisfy your discerning customers – and at a competitive price, too!
Operational-fit products ensure crucial profitability in laundering – and satisfied customers
The familiar BeirTex ® qualities are now even more operational-fit and market-fit. A technological enhancement that successfully keeps most of the cotton fibres at the surface of the product. This ensures that the “feel-good” sensation of cotton – which end-users demand – is as convincing as that of pure cotton products.
The product is designed to be part of your laundry pool alongside your other BeirTex ® qualities. The qualities were developed with a view to optimise laundering and ironing using a single process programme per textile category. This gets around the issue of designing preparatory processes according to the lowest common denominator, with the ironer temperature and speed usually being set to suit the bulkiest products with the highest cotton content.
Using textile ranges developed with this issue in mind means you can make the most of your products with regard to the number of rentals, output quality and efficiency at the laundry. This in itself is a quantum leap for significantly boosting your bottom line!
The products have undergone a number of demanding tests in industrial laundries, which, after 100 washes with a roller speed of 42 m/min at 170°C, have shown:
» Intact surfaces
» Intact strengths
» Intact weight per item because the product hardly produces any dust
» Low shrinkage
Other performance tests in industrial laundries:
» Roller speed/capacity increased by up to 20%
» Clear savings on energy consumption of up to 25%
» Significant reduction in emissions of up to 20%
» Reduction of dust/lint generation – documented up to 90%
» Increased output per machine hour/improved machine ROI with consistently high distribution quality
This enables the laundry to have a lot of rental use, with better use of capacity and reduced energy cost. As an extra benefit, it reduces the laundry’s overall environmental footprint, while the hotel enjoys an attractive design in a magnificent output quality that does not generate dust!
Manufacturing the products
The products are manufactured in state-of-the-art, optimised facilities intended for industrial laundries, resulting in benefits including improved shape retention and significantly reduced shrinkage – advantages that we exploit when establishing sizes, because the dimensions after laundering are what counts.
White is not simply white; within a large selection of the same items, difference in whiteness can pose a real challenge. For that reason, we use a bleaching process that ensures consistent whiteness from one batch to another.
Poor seams can be a product’s weakest link, leading to premature rejection. Beirholm seams are optimised, for example by using high-quality sewing thread, and the products are bar-tacked and free of tension. This ensures an attractive finish and maximum durability, making the textile ideal for industrial processing in a modern, professional laundry.
This product can be viewed as a natural extension of the Q911C range of robust satin qualities in familiar design classics optimised for high-efficiency industrial laundering. By embracing Q784, you can now satisfy even your most fastidious customers while also ensuring that your high-speed laundry needs to run one – and only one – process programme per category, without degrading the product in the process.
Overall, the series offers a lucrative solution to give laundries satisfied customers, happy end-users and a sound return on their investment.
Profitability, sustainability, the environment and ethics go hand in hand... at no extra cost
Cotton cultivation that uses conventional methods is the most polluting form of farming on this planet. That is why we support sustainable cotton production through the Better Cotton Initiative. By selecting BeirTex® products, you are also helping to support the conversion of conventional cotton production to more sustainable cotton farming.
Furthermore, BeirTex® table linen is manufactured to meet the strict requirements of the EU Ecolabel. All relevant phases of the product lifecycle – from raw materials to manufacturing, use, disposal and recycling – are taken into consideration. There are strict requirements regulating all chemicals used in manufacturing, including with regard to emissions. There are also strict requirements on waste water from dye houses and other operations, as well as quality requirements to ensure efficient products with a long service life. This is important because long-lasting products reduce the environmental impact from further production and waste management.
In addition, our BeirTex® products are certified to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 “Confidence in Textiles”, product class 3, which is the strictest classification you can achieve, as it is intended for babies and children up to age 3.
All in all, these ground-breaking BeirTex® textiles combine the top three textile benefits: maximum comfort, minimised operational costs and excellent sustainability. And to make this even more appealing, the price level is the same as for conventional Beirholm-produced textiles in the market.
