A new generation of lucrative BeirTex® satin qualities for hotel customers
Using BeirTex® technology, we have now successfully developed a deluxe range of fine satins!
Kora is a new, exceptionally glossy bed linen design; its varied stripes creating an attractive, subtle interplay across the surface. With its contemporary look, this design is destined to be a future classic in the world market. Kora is a fine count product, crafted from fine yarns, and characterised by its soft hand and sharp patterned effect. It is a relatively light product, without being transparent. An ideal choice to satisfy your discerning customers – and at a competitive price, too!
Operational-fit products ensure crucial profitability in laundering – and satisfied customers
The familiar BeirTex® qualities are now even more
operational-fit and market-fit. An even more advanced technological development that successfully keeps most of the cotton fibres at the surface of the product. This ensures that the “feel-good” sensation of cotton – which end-users demand – is at least as convincing as in cottononly products.
The product is designed for inclusion in your laundry pool alongside your other BeirTex® qualities. The qualities have been developed with a view to optimised laundering and ironing using a single process programme per textile category. This gets around the issue of designing preparatory processes according to the lowest common denominator, with the ironer temperature and speed usually being set to suit the bulkiest products with the highest cotton content.
Using textile ranges developed with this issue in mind means you can make the most of your products as regards the number of rentals, output quality and efficiency at the laundry. This in itself is a quantum leap for significantly boosting your bottom line!
Kora has undergone a number of demanding tests in industrial laundries. After 100 laundering cycles with an ironer speed of 42 m/min at 170°C, the results were as follows:
» Intact surfaces
» Intact strengths
» Intact weight per item because the product hardly produces any dust
» Low shrinkage
This enables the laundry to have a lot of rentals, with better use of capacity and reduced energy costs, while the hotel enjoys an attractive design in a magnificent output quality that does not generate dust!
Manufacturing the products
The products are manufactured in state-of-the-art, optimised facilities intended for industrial laundries, resulting in benefits including improved shape retention and significantly reduced shrinkage – advantages that we exploit when establishing sizes, because what always counts is the dimensions after laundering.
White is not simply white; within a pool, differences between whites can pose a real challenge. For that reason, we use a bleaching process that ensures consistent whites from one batch to another. Poor seams can be a product’s weakest link, leading to premature rejection. Beirholm seams are optimised, for example by using high-quality sewing thread, and the products are bar-tacked and free of tension. This ensures an attractive finish and maximum durability, making the textile ideal for industrial processing in a modern, professional laundry.
This product can be viewed as a natural extension of the Q911C range of robust satin qualities in familiar design classics optimised for high efficiency industrial laundering. By embracing Q784, you can now satisfy even your most fastidious customers, while also ensuring your high-speed laundry only needs to run one – and only one – process programme per category, without degrading the product in the process.
Overall, the series offers a lucrative solution to give laundries satisfied customers, happy end-users and a sound return on their investment.
Profitability, sustainability, the environment and ethics go hand in hand ... at no extra cost
Using conventional methods, cotton cultivation is the most polluting form of farming on this planet. To ensure far better sustainability and an ethically sound product, Beirholm has therefore chosen to use BCI cotton – Better Cotton Initiative – in all our BeirTex® yarns.
Furthermore, BeirTex® bed linen is manufactured in accordance with the strict requirements of the EU Ecolabel. This ensures that only fibres produced in the most eco-friendly way are used. There are special requirements concerning the chemicals used in production – and concerning waste water from dye-works, etc. Moreover, the quality of the finished product has to comply with a number of standards.
To sum up: all BeirTex® products conform to Oeko-Tex® 100 Class 1 certification, which is the strictest classification you can achieve, as it is intended for babies and children up to age 3.
All in all, ground-breaking textiles are certain to make people think again about the use of polyester in bed linen – because they combine the three top textile benefits: maximum comfort, the lowest processing costs and excellent sustainability. And to make this even more appealing, the price level is the same as for conventional Beirholmproduced
textiles in the market.
